GSNETX Kick-off

I want to post some highlights that I heard at the GSNETX Kick-off in August. First a quote…

GSNETX (Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas served 28,881 girls in troops and 8,826 girls in the “Gift of Scouting” program. Over 1100 girls attended Day and Twilight Camp, like our Camp Kinship, and over 1500 attended Resident Camp this summer. There are 15,000 adult Girl Scouts and 119 Gold Award recipients for 2010.
21,713 girl scouts sold 3.4 million boxes of cookies! That is a 2.9% increase and our 3rd year in a row of increased sales in a very difficult economy. 127,000 boxes went to our Troop to Troop program!
